Denmark

Después de haber viajado por Europa en coche durante dos días por fin llegamos a la Península de Dinamarca. No nos imaginábamos que podría llegar a gustarnos tanto. La gente es muy moderna y contrasta con el entorno rural en el que viven (al menos en el centro de la península). Las edificaciones minimalistas se mezclan con algunas muy antiguas y justo al lado de ellas un campo con vacas pastando...

Pasamos los días entre Verdesø (en la costa) y Herning (en el centro). En Verdesø estuvimos en la playa, visitando los pueblos de alrededor y montando en bici. Mientras que en Herning estuvimos preparando todo para mi llegada, visitamos la universidad y la ciudad, nos fuimos de compras y sí, también montamos en bici...

Respecto a las fotos, puede que la  primera cosa que se os pase por la cabeza, es la diversidad de ropa: de abrigo de espiga a bañador, de botas a sandalias, etc. Y esto se debe simplemente por el hecho de que el tiempo por las mañanas no acompañaba (hacía mucho frío) pero al mediodía y por las tardes se estaba bien. Así que fue un poco difícil vestirse cada día. La segunda cosa que quizás se os pase por la cabeza sea: ¿y el agua no está helada? Y sí, sí lo estaba, pero para mojarse los pies y dar un paseo mientras tomas el sol no estaba mal. Además me gusta bañarme en todas las playas a las que voy, es tradición.

After traveling by car around Europe during 2 days we finally got to the Danish Peninsula. We didn't expect we would like it as much as we did. The people is very modern and it contrasts with the rural enviroment that surrounds them (at least in the center of the península). The minimalist buildings mix with other old ones, and right next to them a green field full of cows grazing.

We spent the days between Verdesø (by the beach) and Herning (in the center). While in Verdesø we went to the beach, visited the surrounding villages and rode some bikes. In Herning we got everything setted up for my arrival, visited the university and the city, went shopping and yes, we also rode bikes there too.

Regarding to the pictures the first thing that might come to your mind, is the varity of my clothing: from a tweed jacket to a swimsuit, from boots to sandals, etc. And this is due to the simple fact that the weather during the mornings wasn't that pleasent , and during the afternoon and evenings was alright. Then the second thing that might come to your mind is: wasn't the water cold??? And yes, it was quite cold, but it was fine enough to get your feet in it and go for a walk around to get some sun on. Besides I love to swim in every single beach that I get the chance to go, it's a tradition.

Peach Dress

Ya estoy de vuelta! Hace dos días que llegue de Dinamarca y ya os traigo unos de los pocos looks que pude fotografiar. He estado bastante ocupada preparando la casa y haciendo papeles para mi llegada pero busqué huequitos para preparar algunos posts. Y aquí esta el primero!

Uno de los días fuimos a dar un paseo por Herning, y descubrí una tienda vintage que se salía del rollo moderno-minimal que se lleva en la zona. La tienda se llama Magpie Lane y lo considero uno de los mejores descubrimientos mientras estuve allí. Miles de vestidos vintage llenos de colores y estampados. No me daba tiempo a ver detenidamente todos, movías una percha y te encontrabas un vestido totalmente distinto al anterior. Y aunque en principio no íbamos de compras... no pude resistir a este vestido melocotón tan romántico. Me pareció ideal para este verano y bueno... me lo llevé! :)

Lo combine con mis cuñas nude, un perfecto fino negro para romper la dulzura del look, y este bolsito de Primark parecido al "Alma BB" de Louis Vuitton.

I am back! Two days ago I came back from Denmark, and I already bring you one of the few looks I could photograph. I've been quite busy getting the house ready for my arrival and doing paperwork, but I tried to get some time there to prepare some posts. And, here comes the first one!

One of the days during our stay there, we went for a walk to Herning. There I found this vintage store that was the opposite of the minimal-modern style that is so common in the area. The store is called Magpie Lane and I consider it one of the best things I've got to discover while I was there. Thousand of vintage dresses full of colors and prints. I didn't have time enough to look closely to all of them, you would move one hanger and you would find a dress totally different from the last one. And, even though at first we didn't plan on going shopping ... I couldn't resist to get this romantic peach color dress. I thought it was ideal for summer, and oh well ... I took it home with me :)

Here I combined it with my nude wedges, a thin black biker to break the sweetness of the look, and this bag from Primark similar to the Louis Vuitton's "Alma BB".

Buenos días!

Hoy finalmente y después de tanto tiempo sin aparecer os traigo un pequeño post con un look bastante cómodo. También muy versátil. Aquí lo complemento con accesorios casual para el día a día. Es muy fresco y ligero. Respecto a la ropa de verano me encanta que quede holgada, por su naturalidad y ese toque "effortless chic". Llevo unos shorts de sport de Primark, que ya he catalogado como la compra de la temporada. Combinables con todo, cómodos y muy socorridos en los momentos "que me pongo????" cuando no sabes por donde empezar. Los compré hace varios meses y no me los quito. 

¿Qué opináis del look? Podéis convertirlo en un look de noche fácilmente añadiendo un clutch y unos stilettos.

  

Hello everyone!

Finally, and after a very long time without appearing around here I bring a small post with a very comfy outfit. Also pretty versatile. Here I wear it with casual accesories. It's quite fresh and light. During summer, I love to use loose clothing, because they create effortless chic and natural looks. Here I am wearing a pair of sport shorts from Primark. I already set them up in the "best buys" list of the season. They match with everything and they are pretty useful at the "what should I wear?????" moments that you don't even know what to start with. 

What do you guys think about the look? You could turn it into a night out look with just adding a pair of stilettos and a clutch.

Finally!

Hola a todos!
Como os dije, traigo noticias nuevas! 
Este próximo agosto comenzaré mi carrera universitaria en Dinamarca! Sí, en Dinamarca!
Y no sabéis la ilusión que me hace!
Necesitaba la confirmación de que había sido aceptada para poder contároslo! Y ya es oficial, en unos meses estaré estudiando "Fashion and Furniture Retail Design and Management" que viene a ser gestión de ventas y diseño de productos de moda y mobiliario. La universidad se llama VIA TEKO University y está en  Herning, una pequeña ciudad en el centro de la península de Dinamarca.
La semana que viene ya estaré allí de mudanza! (aunque luego volveré a España a disfrutar del veranito, y luego otra vez de vuelta a comenzar las clases).
Os traeré  miles de posts diferentes con todo lo que vea! Me han dicho que las tiendas son espectaculares, muy modernas... y las tiendas son mi debilidad jajaja.
Me encanta poder compartir esta experiencia con vosotros! Estoy tan contenta de poder estudiar lo que me gusta!
Mientras tanto sigo ocupada con mis cosas, ahora mismo estoy acabando un proyecto de uniformidades para una empresa y esta siendo un gran reto. Nunca me hubiera imaginado hacer eso! Pero que os voy a decir, la verdad es que me encanta!

Hello everyone!
Like I said before, I am bringing new and exciting news!!!!
This next August I will be starting my college studies in Denmark! Yes, in Denmark!
And you guys can't even imagine how excited I am about it!
I needed to know for sure that I got accepted to share it with you! But now it's official, and in few months I will be studying "Fashion and Furniture Retail Design and Management". The university it's called VIA TEKO University and it's in Herning, a small town in the middle of Denmark's peninsula.
The next week I will be there moving in! (however I will be coming back to Spain to enjoy the summer, and then back again to start the classes).
I will bring a new and different post with everything I see there! I've been told that stores there are amazing, and very modern.... and you guys know that stores are my weakness hahaha.
 I love being able to share this experince with you guys! I am so happy for having the chance to study what I truly love! 
Meanwhile I am busy doing my things, right now I am finishing a uniform project for a company, and it's being a real challenge. I would never imagine doing something like that! But, what I can tell you? I honestly love it!
Here I leave you guys some videos of the university that I thought they were pretty interesting! And so you guys have an idea of what it looks like and what I will be doing.

FASHION SNAPSHOT IED

El pasado día 6 de junio, tuvo lugar la última edición de la Fashion Snapshot de IED que conto con la participación de la revista Cosmopolitan. Una verdadera celebración de la moda en el corazón de Madrid. Este encuentro realizado en el propio patio de la academia, reune todos los años a numerosas marcas con grandes descuentos y servicios de personal shopper gratuitos. Todo amenizado con deliciosos cócteles, música, y la presencia de bloggers y actores nacionales.
Vanessa Lorenzo, Planet Palmer, Magnolia Trendy, Ion Fiz, Mentirosas by Fernando Claro, Juana Mum, Maguen 11.11 fueron solo algunas de las marcas que estuvieron presentes.

Yo acudí como personal shopper para Magnolia Trendy, una firma de ropa española romántica y femenina. Sus prendas son sencillas,  pero con personalidad propia. Ideal para aquellas que amamos el estilo naïf y desenfadado. Lo que más me gustaron fueron sus tejidos y sus estampados. La verdad es que la experiencia no pudo ser mejor, y me encanto conocer esta marca de mano de sus propias diseñadoras, María y Aitana. 

En las fotos llevo un vestido de Magnolia Trendy con estampado de bichos! Sí de bichos! Es genial!
El corte es muy femenino y romántico. Estoy segura que lo tendré por el blog más a menudo.
Y pronto tendré noticias muyyyyyyy interesantes que contaros!!!!
